Michael Perdue

Michael Perdue
Dr. Michael Perdue spent 40 years as a Research Scientist in Academia and with the US Government. During these years he developed an abiding love for woodworking and lutherie as relaxing hobbies. In time he realized these were in fact his real passions and as soon as he could he and his wife Lynne retired to Hawaii to pursue their passions full time. As a Big Island Ukulele Guild member for the past 4 years, he has built, exhibited and sold several ukuleles. Michael completed a stunning Caribbean Rosewood Mission Style Snooker Table before moving it to Hawaii and has had a multi-wood art piece exhibited in a Juried show at the Wailoa art center. He decided to join the Hawaii Woodworking Guild in 2015 and submit a couple of recent pieces. Several more of his creations can be seen at www.lilinoelifestyle.com or at the gallery in Hilo.
